Norwegian stave church / Stavkirke
This beautiful Norwegian stave church was built by the vikings in 1157 in the village of Gol without a single nail. It has been relocated to the open-air museum in Oslo, where we scanned it on a sunny afternoon.
The Monolith / Monolitten
On the highest point of the Vigeland Sculpture Park, rise circular stairs towards the Monolith. Counting with 121 figures, it is 17,3 metres high and carved from one single granite block.
Mechanical Room / Trykkluft Rom
Despite being a downsampled scan, this gives you an impression of the capabilities of the Leica BLK360 scanner to capture a complex technical room at the Veterinary Campus in Ås, Norway.
Oslo National Theatre / Nationaltheatret
The theatre had its first performance in September 1899, but can trace its origins to Christiania Theatre, which was founded in 1829. The theatre is considered the home for Henrik Ibsen's plays.
The Norwegian Parliament / Stortinget
The building is built in yellow brick with details and basement in light gray granite. It is a combination of several styles, including inspirations from France and Italy.
Old Gas Station / Bensinstasjon
A life-size reconstruction of a Gas Station from Holmestrand, 1928. Holmestrand is a coastal town in Vestfold County. For many years it was troubled by the steadily increasing traffic along the main highway between Oslo and the southern coast.
